A year of building, growing, and beginning a brand new chapter.
As 2025 comes to an end, we’re taking a moment to look back at everything we’ve achieved - the milestones we hit, the people who joined us, the partnerships we strengthened, and the community moments that reminded us why we love doing what we do.🧡
Let’s look back and see the highlights that shaped our 2025:
🚀 Our Team Grew Stronger Than Ever
This year, we welcomed many talented new colleagues across development, QA, and operations - each bringing fresh perspectives, energy, and new strengths to the team.
We showcased their stories in The Faces of HackSoft, highlighting their unique journeys, growth, and what it’s like to be part of our team.
And yes… we passed 50 people this year. A beautiful milestone. 🙌

🧡 Supporting the Tech Community
2025 was filled with community moments that truly mattered. Some of our favorites:
- For the first time ever, we supported DjangoCon Europe, along with the Django News Newsletter and the Django Chat podcast.
- We proudly supported OpenFest Bulgaria, reaffirming our commitment to open-source culture.
- We co-hosted Python Meetups and other special community events, together with HackBulgaria.
- We shared knowledge across podcasts, panels, and discussions throughout the year.
- We continued to support the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, staying connected to the place where our story began.
Community isn’t something we participate in - it’s something we help build.

🤝 HackSoft Partnership Summit 2025
One of our favorite moments this year was hosting the 3rd edition of the HackSoft Partnership Summit, held in beautiful Bansko under the theme The Retreat. 🌄
Surrounded by the Pirin mountain and the cozy atmosphere of Nestwork Coworking, we stepped away from the day-to-day to reflect, reconnect, and strengthen the partnerships that drive us forward.
It was a meaningful blend of conversations, collaboration, and mountain calm - and truly one for the books. 🧡

✍️ Sharing knowledge and expertise
This year, we continued to publish practical, experience-based engineering articles - from Celery task handling and Django architecture patterns to debugging, system design, and lessons from real projects.
Our case studies highlighted the impact of our work, and the Django Styleguide continued to grow, helping developers worldwide build cleaner, more maintainable systems.

🎓 Leveling Up Together
A standout moment this year was also our in-depth PostgreSQL training with Haki Benita, who traveled to Bulgaria to share his experience with our team.
We spent two immersive days diving into database design, performance, real-world patterns, and healthy engineering practices - all in one of the lecture halls at FMI.
Learning together, in a familiar place full of memories, made the training even more special. 🙌

🤗 Becoming part of something bigger
Perhaps the biggest and most important achievement this year is becoming part of Waracle.
After 11 years of building a strong culture, and refining our craft, joining Waracle marks the beginning of a new chapter filled with even more opportunities, capabilities, and impact.
Together, we’re shaping a future with broader reach, stronger expertise, and greater possibilities for our clients and our team.

A new chapter begins - and it’s going to be an exciting one. ✨
Bring it on, 2026! 🚀
